They are free to choose the life path they want and follow the morals they want, as long as their beliefs are always in the interest of the human species as a whole. Followers of Illuminatiam renounce religious, geographic, and generational differences to work as a single unit with many distinct parts, accepting that each part must be unique to function properly.
